Luke Warford was the 2022 Democratic Nominee for Texas Railroad Commission, the statewide office that regulates the Texas oil & gas industry and has been called “the most important climate election in the country.”

Prior to running for Railroad Commission, Luke worked in Democratic politics, energy, and tech. He was the chief strategist and voter expansion director at the Texas Democratic Party, where he led one of the largest voter registration programs in Texas history. He worked at Facebook, where he advanced the company’s efforts to combat misinformation and bullying & harassment online. And he was a Director at the Albright Stonebridge Group, where he advised some of the most innovative energy and technology companies in the world. Luke lives in Austin, TX, was a Fulbright-Clinton Fellow in Ethiopia, and has a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
